Experts often say that we don't need to splurge too much on cosmetics in order to get things done with beauty. There are quite a lot of ways we can keep our beauty up to date without having to spend enough money. Some everyday items we already have around us can be very magical in this regard, they are products we eat but they can also become ingredients for homemade beauty solutions. 

Egg white mask

Eggs are very rich in protein, not only are they food for the belly but also they are food for the skin too. Egg is a powerful cosmetic product that does all things good to both your skin and your hair. By making a facemask with egg white, you will actually be giving your face some nice treats and nourishments.  
Separate the yolk from the white.
Whisk the egg white.
Take a paper towel, dip it into the egg white, and apply to your face.
Let it dry, and then gently peel it off.
Wash your face with warm water, and apply cream if needed.

Honey-avocado mask

Honey is wonderful so does avocado, this blend can also help your skin look and feel good. Since stress can take a big toll on your skin health, when you feel stressed and need some relaxation, the honey and avocado mask can do the job just right. It helps your skin recover from the effects of stress. 
1/2 avocado
1/4 cup oatmeal
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
Wash and peel the avocado and mash it. Add the oatmeal, mix, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Apply the mixture to your skin. Leave for 20 minutes, then wash with water.

Egg yolk-olive oil mask

When you feel that your skin is "tired" and in need of nutrition, then this is the mask to use. It helps to rekindle your skin and replenish it nutrient. 
Take an egg, and separate the yolk from the white.
Mix the yolk with 1 tbsp olive oil.
For fragrance, add a drop of your favorite essential oil (lavender or rose work well).
Apply to your skin, and leave for 20 minutes.
Wash it off with warm water.

Boiled mashed potato with milk and almond oil

Acne are skin worst enemies. When they come around, they cause damage to the way you look. The potato-milk-almond oil blend will help you get rid of acne and lighten your skin tone.
Take one potato, boil it, and then mash it.
Add 2 tsp milk or milk powder and 1 tsp almond oil.
Put the mixture on your skin, and leave for 20 minutes.
Wash it off with warm water.
Repeat 2-3 times a week for the best result!

Tomato Face mask

This particular mask is said to help get rid of facial hair and clean the pores. It also has a lightening effect on your skin tone too. 
Take a tomato, peel its skin, and squeeze the juice into a bowl (without the seeds and flesh).
Take 1 tbsp tomato juice, and mix it with 1 tbsp gelatin powder and 1 tbsp milk. Mix well.
Heat the mixture in a bain-marie (place the bowl containing the mixture into a larger vessel of boiling water).
Add a few drops of honey, and mix again.
Let it cool off a little, and then apply to the skin.
Leave it to dry completely, and then gently peel off.
