Kylian Mbappe is a professional football (soccer) player from France who plays as a forward for both the French national team and the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club team. He was born on December 20, 1998 in Bondy, a suburb of Paris, France.
Mbappe began his football career at a young age, playing for several local clubs before joining the youth academy at AS Monaco in 2013. He made his professional debut for Monaco in December 2015 and quickly became one of the team's key players. Mbappe helped Monaco win the French Ligue 1 title in the 2016-17 season and also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League that same year.
In August 2017, Mbappe was signed by PSG on a loan deal with an option to buy, and he eventually made the move permanent in 2018 for a reported fee of €180 million, making him one of the most expensive players in history. Since then, Mbappe has continued to excel at PSG, helping the team win multiple domestic titles and reaching the Champions League final in the 2019-20 season.
Mbappe is also a key player for the French national team, having helped them win the 2018 FIFA World Cup and being named the tournament's Best Young Player. He is widely regarded as one of the best football players in the world and has won numerous individual awards for his performances on the field.
