Disturbing Facts About the Apollo 11 Mission

Nov 19, 2019 By Kayode Oseh 7K

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

That was actually the historic comment made by Niel Armstrong, being the first human to set his feet on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 - I guess most of us are quite familiar with that comment.

The Apollo 11 mission is said to be the first successful moon travel in history. In spite of the fact that several attempts had been made to travel to the moon, non was actually able to land a living soul on the moon's atmosphere except this mission.

The Apollo 11 mission have actually raised lots of controversies right from the time it was carried out. So many people believe that there is a conspiracy theory behind it --that the mission was actually staged and not original. Anyway only few percent of the world thinks this mission is phony and not real, but to a large extent they actually make lot of sense when some factors are critically evaluated.

The facilities were not efficient enough

One of the most disturbing point about the faked mission was that made by Bill Kaysing after the whole world triumphed over the success of the Apollo 11 mission. Bill Kaysing was one of the US space program worker who designed the engine of Saturn V, the rocket designed for the Apollo mission. According to him "Saturn V wasn't really efficient enough for the travel, the rocket could only take astronaut out of the earth atmosphere to the moon but bringing them back was hard because the facilities was lacking" he said. However, lots of people disregarded this claim. But the big question is, if the mission was really successful, why then does Bill Kaysing had to make such a claim or was he just trying to be a critic?

There were no stars in the moon landing photos

On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin climbed down from the Eagle Lunar Module to put the first footprints on the moon and several picture was taken of the moon. But another of the most disturbing facts that shows that this mission was faked was that lack of stars in the background. The moon clouds are infinitesimal unlike the earth and as such, stars should be visible enough in the image background of which they are not. This is another of the most compelling fact that shows that the Apollo 11 mission is a hoax.

There was multiple light source

The moon only receives light from the sun and as such shadows are suppose to run parallel to each other in the same direction, but in the photographs and the video footage of the mission, this was not the case. All the shadows cast were not actually running in the same direction and that actually means that there were multiple light sources in the background which proves that it was done in a film settings.

The Cold War

It makes lot of sense when we say that the cold war could be another reasons why the United States had to stage the Apollo 11 mission. The cold war which lasted for about 45 year starting from 1947-1991, was a period of geopolitical tension that featured lots of western nation including America and the Soviet Union. This was actually a period when different western nations were engaged in a war that seem not to include physical weapons but the use of ideologies. According to conspiracy theorists, this may be another reason why the mission had to be faked. It may have been done in an attempt to give America an edge over other nations involved in the war.

An attempt to Avoid Humiliation of John F. Kennedy

"The Apollo mission would be a national and technological accomplishment that would generate world-wide acclaim for the United States". This was actually the statement made by President John F. Kennedy in 1962. Although he wasn't the president of America in 1969 when the mission was said to be successful but this was too hard of a speech that any nation would do anything to accomplish even if it means faking it. And Lots of conspiracy theorists believes that the Apollo 11 mission was also faked in order not to ridicule the speech made by President Kennedy in 1962.
