Skipping. This is a very intense form of aerobic exercise, and is sure to produce results if you can keep up a consistent regime of a few minutes each day. Boxers use skipping as part of some of the most arduous training regimes in sport. Keep up a consistent skipping regime, and you will lose weight. It also has the advantage of being cheap, and it is even possible to skip indoors.

Replace other carbohydrates with baked or boiled potatoes. Not all carbohydrates are equal, and some, like fries, have been cooked in oil or fat. A baked or boiled potato will still be filling, but without the extra calories of so many of the other choices. Keep this up consistently, and it can make a major difference.
