IGF-1 LR3 – Long R3IGF-1

IGF-1, also known as somatomedin C, is one of the members of the peptide family, which has structure & size similar to insulin and is released into the liver or in peripheral tissues in response to the growth hormone to make new muscles. It is responsible for the anabolic activities of GH, and builds new muscle by promoting water retention and protein synthesis. It doesn’t only make muscle fibers larger, but also increase them in number.
IGF-1 has powerful effect on fat metabolism and helps the body to burn fat quickly. IGF-1 also helps in stimulating and enhancing the bone density and muscle movements.
