Getting rid of obnoxious odor is probably one of the major reasons why we engage in clean up routines around our homes. When our abode smells good, it gives us this confident of entertaining visitors at any point it time, making us feel like we got it all covered. Though sometimes we are purposefully lazy and unable to put our homes is order however, there are times when its not completely our fault, because it seem that no matter how many times we mop, scrub, and clean, the stenches of everyday life are inevitable. As long as you cook, play and live, they'll surely be there. 
Although scents do their best in eradicating odors and make our home feel good. But sometimes it necessary not to splurge too much on expensive deodorants just groom the air. There are quite some handy household items we already have around, they can be very effective in cleaning up polluted air...I guess you should try them. 

Apple Cider Vinegar for Drains

Apple Cider Vinegar work wonders in eradicating bad smells most especially yucky odors from sewages and septic systems. Pour a half cup down any drain and send unpleasant smells packing. 

Vanilla Extract for Freezers

Freezers are stocked with almost everything that's why this place smell so bad. Hardly would anyone open his or her freezer without perceiving that fridge smell. However, it doesn't always have to be like that. Fridge smells can actually be contained with some handy items like Vanilla extract. Soak a cotton ball in vanilla extract, then swipe it around the inside of your freezer. 

Lemon Juice for Garbage Disposals

With two cups of lemon juice poured on waste bins can send musky smells back to where they came from. 

Baking Soda for fridge and Sneakers

From health to beauty down to cleaning, backing soda has a whole lot of functions. It does wonders in taming smells and unpleasant odors. Don’t get rid of your barely worn sneakers just because your nose is ready to run for the hills, with baking soda around, you can put those smells on handcuffs. Sprinkle baking soda inside each one and let them sit overnight. In the morning, tap the powder off outside and the stenches will be gone for good.
Baking soda can also send fridge smells packing. Just open a box or cup of baking soda inside your fridge, it cuts through every unpleasant odor and bring them to submission.

Coffee grounds will sweeten the air inside your car or its trunk. For use in the car, place the grounds in a covered plastic container with holes punched in the lid.
