These Indoor Exercises Will Keep You Fit Always

Jump Rope


This activity may look very childish but it actually a great indoor exercise that targets your entire body. It improves all elements of fitness including muscular strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.

Stair Stepping


Stair stepping is a very great exercise that targets your glute muscles, hamstrings, calves and hips. It develop your legs and your buttocks muscles. It is an indoor exercise worthy of trying. 

The Plank


The plank also known as abdominal bridge is an isometric core strength exercise that involves maintaining a position similar to a push-up for the maximum possible time -It target your entire core muscles.

Get into a push-up position, but instead of bending your arms and moving down towards the floor, hold the position with your arms extended. Make sure you don't go up and down as you normally would during push ups but rather remain like that and holding the position for 30 seconds to few minutes if you can. You can gradually increase the duration when you feel your level of endurance has increased.   

Dancing


For those of us that feels lazy engaging in one physical activity or the other, dancing is a very good option for you to try. Many of us don't actually know that dancing is a good form of exercise. You may think that you are swinging yourself in response to that melody but you don't actually know that while doing that you are releasing some negative energies and burning calories as well. Dancing is a very good indoor exercise you and your entire family can do together. You guys will not only have fun but also burn some fats.

Cleaning


Any activity that will engage your muscles and make you go physical is actually an exercise. It should not sound ridiculous that cleaning is form of exercise. Cleaning can be very physical, especially vacuuming and mopping.
