Why Does My Earpiece Keep Breaking? - Here Is Why

Are you always complaining that your headphones kept on spoiling? do you think the fault is yours or from the manufacturers? then go through this list to actually confirm if you are the one at fault or the producers. If you do any of these below, then know you are the bad guy and all fault is yours.

You always rollover the cord

Most cords for headphones can be pretty long as if they where skipping ropes. However, if you happens to have a headphone with along cord then you must be extra gentle not to rollover them as this may break the wire within the insulating strip leading to complications.

Don't let the Cord Dangle

When your cord dangles back and forth maybe from a high support like a table, it can lead to issues - this is because as it's dangles, it is putting an undue stress and strain on the wire which may not be very good for it.

Forgetting They’re on Your ears

Some times you may have forgotten the fact that you have an ear piece glued to your ears and you may mistakenly brush the cord with your hand letting it loose all of a sudden.

Winding the Cord Into Knots

Do you always wind the cord of you headphone? or do you fold it inside your bag and it wind itself into knots then its high time you stop doing that or stop putting it inside your bag.

Pulling the Cord, Not the Plug

This is the most frequent reason why we spoil our headphone. Pulling on the cord causes stress where the cord meets the plug. Over time, pulling can cause the internal wire to break and separate from the plug.

Exposure to Sweat and Moisture

Exposing your headphone to moisture is not doing it any good perhaps you might have seen the caution on the leaflet whenever you buy an headphone. Try to avoid it coming in contact with water.

Sleeping With Them On them

Everyone is guilty of this but it can be avoided and the only way you can prevent this, is to take your headphone far away from you when you notice that sleep has come visiting.
