It is very better to understand some basic things about your computer and how to use them effectively. Computers are built in a way that they are easily adjustable in order to suit our need at every point in time. There are quite a lot of ways to set up a PC to make it more usable and accessible.
Make it easier to see what's on the screen:
To make things easier to see on
the screen, you can change some common settings under Ease of Access. In order
to locate Ease of access, click on the window icon or start button at the bottom
left of your PC and locate “settings”. Click on settings then Ease of Access.
Below are items under the Ease of Access menu:
Magnifier. This is an enlargement tool that helps enlarge part or your entire screen so you can see words legibly and images clearly and better.
High contrast. This allows you to adjust the screen contrast. Since colors are important in the way texts and images are displayed, you can adjust the color contrast from here to suit your need.
Other options. Other options help you customize your overall visual experience. Here you can also turn off animations in Windows and adjust cursor thickness.
How to increase text size on your computer
Change Text Size in Windows 10
1. Right click on the desktop and select Display settings.
2. Slide the "Change the size of text, apps..." to the right to make text bigger. Or slide it to the left to make them smaller. The slider moves in increments of 25 percent. You can increase the size up to 175 percent.
You'll notice the size of text change right away, but you won't see everything get bigger (or smaller) until you reboot or log in and out.

1. Right click on the desktop and select Screen Resolution.
2. Click "Make text and other items larger or smaller"
3. Select a percentage: Smaller, Medium or Larger (100, 125 or 150 percent) and click Apply.
Use the PC without a display
With Narrator, you can interact with your PC without a display by hearing audio descriptions of text, buttons, and videos on the screen. Narrator is a screen-reading app for people with visual difficulties, but even people without those difficulties might find some of its features useful.
The easiest way to get to the Narrator settings is to press Windows+Ctrl+N. This opens the Settings app directly to Settings > Ease of Access > Narrator.
From here, switch the toggle switch to the “On” position enable Windows Narrator.
Make it easier to use the mouse
In the search box, Select Mouse, and then select the options that you want to use:
1. Change the color and size of mouse pointers. You can use these options to make the mouse pointer larger, or change the color of the pointer to make it easier to see.
2. Turn on mouse keys. If you are uncomfortable using a mouse, turn on mouse keys so you don't need to use a mouse. Instead, you can use the numeric keypad or the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the pointer.
Find your mouse pointer fast
1. In the search box on your task bar, search for Mouse, and select it from the list.
2. Once you're in Mouse settings, select Additional mouse options from the links on the right side of the page.
3. In Mouse Properties, on the Pointer Options tab, at the bottom, select Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key, and then select OK.
Make typing easier
Select Keyboard from the search box and then select the options that you want to use:
1. On-Screen Keyboard. This allows you to use your computer without pressing the keyboard. This tool let you enter text by selecting characters on the screen.
2. Sticky Keys. With Sticky Keys turned on, you won't have to press different keys at thesame time. For example, instead of pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del at the same time, you can press keys one at a time.
3. Toggle Keys. Sometimes, we press the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock keys without even realizing it. This can be very frustrating and can come in between our work flow. Toggle Keys remind you each time you press the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock keys by playing a notification. These notifications can help prevent the frustration of inadvertently pressing a key and not realizing it.
